Advice

What to send when requesting a flooring quote in Cape Town

A short list of the details that help us understand your project and respond with useful options rather than a generic reply.

A good quotation starts with a clear picture of the space. You do not need to know the technical answer before you get in touch, and it is fine to be unsure about finishes. The more you can tell us about the space and how it is used, the more useful our first response will be.

Useful details

  • The location. The town or suburb helps us understand travel and coverage.
  • The type of property. A home, a shop, a workshop and a warehouse each raise different questions.
  • How the space is used. Traffic, vehicles, moisture and daily activity all affect the system we propose.
  • The approximate floor area in square metres. A rough figure is enough to start.
  • The condition of the existing floor. Bare concrete, an old coating, tiles and visible damage all change the preparation.
  • The finish you have in mind. Even a preference for gloss or a decorative look helps.
  • Your timing. If you are working towards a date, tell us.

Photographs help

Photographs are one of the most useful things you can share. A few wide shots of the space and a couple of close-ups of the existing surface often answer questions that would otherwise need a visit. You can send them over WhatsApp using the button on this site.

What happens next

An enquiry does not book a visit or incur a charge. If the project looks like it needs a site visit, we explain why and confirm the separate call-out fee with you before arranging anything. This keeps the process clear from the start.

If you are not sure which service you need, say so. Part of our job is helping you decide between options such as a coating, a screed or a polished concrete finish based on the space, not the other way around.
